Distinguishing between plastic-lined pipe and plastic-coated pipe

1. Distinguish in use:

Plastic-lined steel pipes are usually divided into plastic-lined steel pipes for cold water and plastic-lined steel pipes for hot water;

Plastic-coated steel pipes are usually divided into plastic-coated steel pipes for water supply and plastic-coated steel pipes for firefighting.

2. Distinguish in material:

Plastic-lined steel pipes are distinguished by the use of different lining materials. They are usually divided into polyethylene PE-lined steel pipes and heat-resistant polyethylene PE-RT-lined steel pipes, which is what we usually call plastic-lined steel pipes for cold water and hot water. 3. Distinguish in process:

The plastic-lined steel pipe uses hot-dip galvanized steel pipe as the base pipe, and uses polyethylene lining PE and heat-resistant polyethylene PE-RT plastic as the inner lining;

Plastic-coated steel pipes are treated with polyethylene PE and epoxy resin EP plastic powder as the coating.
